Small roadside beach with very limited parking. Quick access, but best for short visits.

Short 5–10 minute walk leads to a beautiful secluded beach. Parking is limited.

Hidden gem with a short walk down. Small, scenic, and tucked near Thunderbird Lodge.
Skunk Harbor
Secluded sandy cove with a 3-mile roundtrip hike. Strict parking enforcement — plan accordingly.

Wide sandy beach with a new walkway, restaurants, playground, restrooms, and watersports rentals. Great for a full beach day.
Speedboat Beach

WEST SHORE
Commons Beach
In the heart of Tahoe City with grass, sand, a playground, and easy access to shops and restaurants. Perfect for families.
Meeks Bay
Beautiful sandy cove with a marina and rentals for kayaks, paddleboards, and boats.
SOUTH SHORE
Baldwin Beach
Long, wide stretch of soft sand with stunning mountain views — feels more like the ocean than the mountains.
