NORTH SHORE

Kings Beach (Raccoon St Area)
Dogs allowed on the east side near Raccoon St. boat ramp. Easy access, but can get busy in peak season.

Waterman’s Landing Fully dog-friendly rocky beach with a café and outdoor seating — great for a relaxed stop.
Carnelian Bay Dogs welcome on the rock beach next to Gar Woods. Scenic and locally loved.

WEST SHORE

Hurricane Bay Quieter rocky beach just south of Tahoe City — a good option to escape crowds.
Lake Forest Beach Park Spacious and accessible with plenty of room for dogs and families.
Skylandia Park & Beach A laid-back local beach with easy access and open space.

SOUTH SHORE

Kiva Beach Tahoe’s largest dog-friendly beach with stunning Mt. Tallac views — perfect for a full-day outing.

EAST SHORE

Hidden Beach Small roadside beach with very limited parking. Quick access, but best for short visits.
Chimney Beach Short 5–10 minute walk leads to a beautiful secluded beach. Parking is limited.
Secret Beach Hidden gem with a short walk down. Small, scenic, and tucked near Thunderbird Lodge.
Skunk Harbor Secluded sandy cove with a 3-mile roundtrip hike. Strict parking enforcement — plan accordingly.

Speedboat Beach Small, stunning beach with granite boulders. Very limited parking — drop-off makes it easy.

WEST SHORE

Commons Beach In the heart of Tahoe City with grass, sand, a playground, and easy access to shops and restaurants. Perfect for families.
Meeks Bay Beautiful sandy cove with a marina and rentals for kayaks, paddleboards, and boats.

SOUTH SHORE

Baldwin Beach Long, wide stretch of soft sand with stunning mountain views — feels more like the ocean than the mountains.

EAST SHORE

Sand Harbor Tahoe’s most iconic beach with turquoise water and white sand. Parking fills early — plan ahead or let us drop you.
Zephyr Cove A lively beach scene with food, drinks, and watersports. Expect crowds, especially in summer.
